Damn it's been a whole year.

By the wayside. Anyways, just another day right? Ugh..at least people were guessing really low at my age, which made me smile. Did have a nice b-day dinner yesterday and Maggiano's. Love the food there. Anyways, thinking back to my last journal post..ugh..almost a year, and I came no where close to one finished drawing a month. Someone come smack me in the head...please.

Ok, I need some inspiration, or motivation, or a muse..or something. My quit date for smoking is the 27th, and I just got in my free supply of patches. Heh, about the only thing Lowe's has been good for so far. So I figure when I quit, I'll have to put that time I used smoking...into my art? Who knows. I would love to say my plan is one finished drawing a month again..by I would prolly tank that shit too.

We shall see..yessssssssss....we shall see.

Damn it's been a whole year.

Well, it's been a whole year since I last updated my journal. I'm proud to say that in that time, I've maybe finished one peice of art. Don't know what the hell is wrong with me. NO inspiration, no motivation, no drive to draw anymore. It sucks to, because I want to, but when I sit down and start to, I just get so..hmm..what's the word I'm looking for? Depressed!! Yeah that's it. Just doesn't seem like I can draw like I used to.

But who knows, maybe I'll find the motivation, the drive, the inspiration that I used to have. I need a muse..that's what it is..yeah..a muse.

My goal is 1 finished drawing a month. You all are more then welcome to help me out with ideas. Wish me luck.

Damn..feels like I've neglected drawing..wait..I HAVE! Jus dealing with a lot of personal issues lately. But I've decided that this is a drawing weekend for me and I HAVE to complete at least one drawing this weekend. My personal goal is 2, so we'll see. I've promised a lot of people art, and it's about time I start making good on those promises.
On the list is Witchblade, a friend's original character, Aspen (I think), Chase from Aspen, a couple of fairies for my neices, another friend's character, and the list goe on. One in particular I've been thinking about for over a month as a birthday present..but I'm not so sure about now. I guess we'll see.

As an Admin there I have to ask myself a question. How can I increase traffic on the boards? Hmm..how about have another contest. I held a AIX contest last year and outcome was a little overwhelming. Thus the reason for another contest.

The theme of this contest is "All dolled up." Take your favorite character, be it a Top Cow character or any other character and doll them up. Dress them up for a night on the town, a day at the derby, hell...a night at the prom. Go wild!

If you don't belong to the boards, you will have to register to become a member, as the contest is only open to board members. If you have a problem validating your membership, let me know and I will do it for you.

So those pencils out, and get to drawing..oh..and swing by and join the boards as well.

Yeah..anyways..it's time for me to seriously start drawing again. I keep telling myself that I'ma do it..but I don't. Seriously, through out my life I realize that I either quit things, or just don't fully apply myself and end up wasting any potential or momentum I have. So this time it's going to be different. I'm gonna draw my ass off. I've already got a small list of requests from friends who I owe art from. So..

The first 10 people who reply in this, will get a drawing from me, for free, and I'll even mail it to you. Oh, and I'll even let you choose the deadline..keep in mind though that it needs to be a reasonable deadline.
